Avah-- Dressing herself. Putting shoes on. Counting to 12. Singing all the time every song in the book. Using potty esp. when were out and about. Flower girl. Telling me where to go while we're driving. Has challenges (I guess we call this terrible twos) Still loves books. Loves to watch Barney, Dora, MMC. Talks about feelings a lot..ex. While brushing her teeth she says all done.. I say no A little longer..she replies "so dr not sad" or I say Avah turn off the water we have used enough " make daddy happy" lol bc one time I told her lets not use all the water bc daddy would be sad if he got that high water bill. She continues to say things like this all day. Oh and she keeps requesting a second hair cut.

Life with two {things to remember}
ThDon't get me wrong I seriously thank God everyday that we have 2 healthy girls but there are some (many) things lately that I just laugh about because it's absolutely crazy.. From Avah pooing on the carpeted rug to attempting to jump in the toilet life with 2 is very overwhelming at times so I thought I'd jot down something's I don't want to forgot .. Esp when we think about #3...
First thing I have Papa do when they get in from a 9 hr drive from Ohio-- Please install door security.. Avah escapes daily.. Always when I'm nursing..picture me running out the door Addy latched on.. Awesome!
This is where I eat dinner nightly.. Standing while soothing a sometimes cranky 4 mo old in the bouncer..& yes that's sprite.. no time over here for juicing 7 diff veggies.
This would be #10 of toys I've picked up today..

Need to get better at this..
I've barely posted about Addy and she's almost 3 months!
At 2 mo check up she was 9 lbs 12oz.. Sleeping like a champ and has really good neck control.. Although she's not a fan of tummy time! She coos and smiles and loves to smile at Avah.
Her favorite thing to do is lay on her back under her little gym.. She kicks her feet to play music & of course she loves to be held!
She did fantastic on her plane ride. We just returned (me Avah and addy) from 2 weeks in Ohio. It went surprisingly well- no toddler break downs and addy slept both flights :) I'm discovering that Avah actually does better with one adult.. When more people are here to "help" I think she takes advantage of the situation.. She's smart. She uses the potty but I haven't enforced panties everyday. (Lazy, yes) I'd rather have fun and not worry about potty training haha!
Easter was a lot of fun.. Spent with all the Fam in Ohio! Missed Daddy but he's super busy opening his first restaurant!

Two Year Old.
She referred to her bday as happy you Avah.. We corrected her 100X - it didn't matter!
Some new things..
She is counting to 10 without any mistakes
Naming shapes without mistake
Talking in mostly 3 word sentences
Had her toe nails painted for the first time
Had a picnic dinner on the floor
She is Obsessed with the show Barney
**Always.. I'm not exaggerating uses please, thank you and your welcome :) Out of everything I do as a momma I want her to be respectful-- if she doesn't like carrots or broccoli (so what!) if she enjoys chick fil a and ice cream I'm okay with that... If she's a rude, spastic---NOT Ok! I've noticed so many parents putting this huge emphasis on food and "natural" cleaning products --to I don't know make their kids healthy & make themselves look good (?!) but then totally forget the manners part. ( you know the kids your around 5 mins and want to spank yourself?!)
Loves giving Addy kisses--> Also has some jealous moments which are getting better but are still challenging!

Our girls
We've been BUSy! Between keeping a toddler content and having fun + feeding/diapering/dr appts of a new baby time is flying by! Addy had her 2 week check up, she weighed 7lbs and 6 oz. Great weight gain, I was told to keep up what I'm doing! Addy has a lite bit of a schedule already... She's wide awake by 7am and stays up for a few hours- she'll cluster feed a little. Then she eats/ naps on and off till the evening. At that point same thing cluster feed a few hours and then to sleep. She sleeps anywhere from 2-4 hrs, nurses and then right back to sleep. Let's hope she continues these good habits!! :) she loves to be held and her sister loves to hold her!
Avah is slowly adjusting.. She either wants to be all about her or wants to throw a fit when I'm nursing or can't hold her. It's def been a challenge but everyday is getting better. She hasn't felt really good with molars coming in so I'm sure that has a lot to do with the "fits" we've been keeping her busy with the park, playing outside, children's museum and hullabaloo. We also have a horse staying behind us that she got to ride too! Trying to give her that one on one attention..

Adalyn Rose is here!
One word for Addy's birth story- FABULOUS!! Ahh never thought I'd use that word in regards to labor after my first experience but it was! It began on Tueaday at midnight with my water breaking.. Same response from David " are you sure you didn't pee" ( then he laughs because he knows it's a joke now) I try to tiptoe out of Avah's room where I was sleeping.. Fail. So Avah is awake now and to her " I'm leaking" everywhere. We contemplate calling the dr because I wasn't having contractions. David talks me into it because it's clear now Avah isn't going back to sleep until we get out of the house. I speak to Dr Pierson. She urges me to get there quickly because the second time is faster. We leave at around 1am once Nana arrives and get to the hospital at 2am. At this point contractions felt like severe cramps but I could walk. We stop by Krisy Kreme because I was starving and feared I wouldn't be able to eat for the next 12 hrs. We arrive and they put us in a triage room. I'm only 1 cm but yet each time a contraction came on I was clinching the bed rail, breathing hard and thinking" I can do anything for a min" I've got to get through this! David tried to rub my feet a few times I shook my head, I was in a zone of getting through the pain but at the same time feeling am I a wuss because if I'm only 1 cm I don't think I'll make it without some meds. 20-30 mins passed by and then I'm screaming to David " Baby is coming!!! Get someone!!" David pushes the red button and 10 people flood in.. I'm 8 cm! Dr rushes in, they hurriedly wheel my bed to a delivery room, prop up the stir ups Dr. Pierson says next contraction push! I push and there she is!!! WOW, what an incredible feeling!! One push?!?
To think I had been stressing earlier in the day because Dr said I was "closed" and they scheduled me an induction date. I was so upset.. Shows them what they know.
I had some very uncomfortable minor complications weeks 36-38ish. Then 2 amazing weeks of Avah and mommy time. God has such an amazing way of working things out. Had Addy came early like I wanted Avah and I wouldn't of had so much fun together! We are beyond blessed to have these healthy angels and that is not to be taken for granted. Now we begin to settle as our family of 4. :)
