Forgot how much I missed blogging..

This picture was taken on Sunday, these pups <3 the beach!

I cant believe it has been almost a year since I last logged in! WOW! Where does the time go? I decided to pick back up blogging since Im getting burnt out on facebook. I love how blogging can keep near & far friends and family up to date in the simplest form! So to fast forward from the last time I blogged David and I celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary in December. We spent five days in Montego Bay, Jamiaca which was a perfect end to 2010. We spent most of our time beach side sipping pina coladas but we did venture out one afternoon for a round of golf and a dolphin swim! The round of golf was a bit frustrating because I had not picked up a club in months. However, David did quite well and was really stoked to have his personal caddy. But the best part for me was interacting with the dolphins! They are such peaceful creatures I just love, love, love being that close with such a beautiful animal. All in all we had a blast, it was our first "lazy" type of vacation together. Most of our travels our booked around waves and surf breaks so it was def a nice change!

We spent the holidays with my family in Ohio. While we tried to relax and enjoy everything the holidays have to offer we could not stop thinking about our house. Our loan process took a VERY long 4 months to close on. So needless to say when we closed (December) we were more than ready to start. The only problem- it was cold and January. So the holidays rushed passed us and January brought snow, snow and more snow. Thankfully, once the skies cleared and the weather subdued before we knew it the foundation was finished we were on to framing speedy quick!

So here we are..the house is coming right along...we are looking at a move in date of the summer. But no one ca really predict weather, lazy workers etc. As the house appears larger and more "real" we are both getting a little nervous but are ready to finally have a place to call our home.

the house is almost complete! ha-not quite, but I was HAPPY when all the lumber actually began to resemble our home. :)
