Zoo!

My niece Jessica and I took Avah to the Columbus Zoo this week. She's really into making the animal sounds but the only one shed make there was the monkey sound :) She had a blast, wasn't into riding in the stroller ... This is becoming a problem ad I see now why parents use leashes haha. We are working on holding hands but she just wants to run. Luckily the zoo had plenty of toddler sized playgrounds so she was able to get some energy out! What a fun day!

16 months and some exciting news!

At 16 months Avah is quite the charmer. She repeatedly will say yes when we say no- all the while smiling and crinkling her nose. So cute but not funny :) she in fact doesn't say no at all. Anything u ask her to do she says yes, sometimes she'll shake her head no but that's about it. Her new words are water, thanks, there it is (all mumbled together) , Booboo, sit, stay ( commands the dogs already) She is still loving people, books, the beach and pool. Avah can make the monkey, lion, dog, elephant and snake noise. Hilarious!
As of June 8th we discovered she will also be a big sister in 2014! Very excited for them to be so close, something I never got to experience within my family. I can only imagine what our home will be like in 10 years! Busy, busy, busy!! I've been on and off sick... Pretty awesome playing doll house then running to the toilet then back to doll house... No resting this time!
