My baby is rolling over!!

So here was Avah just hanging out one morning, I look over and FLOP. I got the tail end of her first time rolling over!! Then later that day while mommy was at the grocery store she did it again for daddy!

Bath time continues to be one of my favorite evening rituals. Avah gets her bath every night between 6-7...schedule freak?!? Yes I AM!!

Just being a big girl :) Whats New: Avah LOVES her hands, they are always in her mouth these days. She can hold her Sophie teething toy and bring it to her mouth. She comfortably enjoys tummy time and can move her head all directions (not reaching for toys yet) but she will play with toys that are in her arm reach. Likes to follow sounds with her eyes...professional bubble blower and of course she continues to brighten our days with her smile and laugh!

15 Weeks

Little Miss Avah is growing like a weed- we had to go into the pediatrician this week and she is weighing 13 lbs 10 oz! She has started this really loud giggle that I just love. Tonight I was kissing her over and over and over on the cheek and she would let out this loudest giggles, ahh i just love it!

This past week was David's first fathers day. We got him some new golf shirts and cards. :) Avah and I are really lucky to have such a wonderful man in our life..and he is one of the best dads out there. He works so hard for our family and cares for Avah with so much love. I cant wait to see their relationship in 5, 10, 15 years...I know she is going to have him around her little fingers (if not already) We spent fathers day at the beach with some great friends. Then we ordered out from a local Italian place it was a great day!
Im going to post some pics of our trip to Ohio when I get them, Avah did great on all 4 plane rides, even the 4 hour layover in Atlanta :) phew! Glad thats over...I was so nervous flying alone with her.


*We are still refusing a bottle :( Im going to try a tiny bit of Karo syrup on the nipple and just let her play around with it for a few days. Then Ill add some b. milk to a bottle and try again. Its SOOOOOOO frustrating....I even tried formula mixed with breast milk and she refused..at my wits end with this one! Daddy and I need a golf date!

Avah's 3 month Schedule

Life with baby...

wakes up by 8am
nurse, change clothes, play (tummy time, rattles, talking to her) while she plays I get ready in less than 10 mins..yes this is true. Gym clothes, no make-up, hair pulled up! LOL

10am feeding
stoller ride/coffee shop and/or i go to the gym
12pm feeding
some play
nap and errands
2pm feeding

4pm feeding
stroller ride, play outside..usually by this time its getting cooler out
6pm feeding
630 I make dinner and usually eat with little Avah on my lap (she likes to be held when she is sleepy)
7pm Bath time, she loves!
Always to sleep by 8pm
Wakes around 3 or 4am for a diaper change and feeding then up by 8am!


My days occasionally feel like groundhog day LOL.. :) & somedays at 5pm I realize I havent fed myself since 10am..like today..but hey Avah is WELL taken care of so thats all that matters right?!

3 months in 2days!!

Oh my, I cannot begin to tell you how fast time is going, it is sooo true what they say about having kids! Time really does go that much faster. Its so funny I think David and I are beginning to "feel" our age. Last Friday Susan came over to spend a couple hours with Avah so we took off to the pool. We met a couple there who had 2 kids already so we were talking about Avah the entire time! Their little boy asked all of our ages. I wouldve guessed this couple was 35+ish..Oh no they were our age! So later were like is that what we look like now?! haha..and maybe we are just in denial?

Avah is learning new things every week, she is more vocal now..all day long she will smile and talk...its the sweetest sound. I LOVE holding her in my arms when she gives me the biggest grin and will coo so loudly. This past week she started grabbing one of the toys hanging on her car seat and she likes staring at the patterns too. 

I am looking forward to taking her to Ohio Monday. Im feeling kind of nervous since Im going alone but Im sure Avah will cooperate and sleep most of the time.
